Selecting the right size can be a daunting process so we have compiled some tips to assist you in getting the perfect fit: - Try your boots on in the afternoon, after you have been on your feet for an extended amount of time.
- Try your boots on inside on carpeted floor first. Take them for a small walk, staying indoors on the carpet. This will allow you to feel how they fit without showing any signs of wear on the boots.
- Remember to wear the socks that you plan to wear with the boots. Some work boots, such as Redbacks, are designed to be worn with thick socks and will feel very loose if you wear thin socks with them.. When a boot is new, the sole will feel hard and stiff. As you wear them, the sole will soften and flex.
- Always keep the hangtags attached until you are happy with the boots and sizing. Also, keep the original packaging in case you need to return the item.
- With leather boots remember, that as you continue to wear the boots they will stretch slightly and soften over time.
- With sheepskin footwear, it is important that they are a snug fit to begin with as they do stretch and mould to the shape of your foot after the first few wears.
