UGG™ Shampoo is biodegradable and contains a unique blend of surfactants, chelating and conditioning agents that will lubricate the sheepskin and give a distinct lustre and handle to the wool fibre. It conditions and even improves sheepskin leather and wool with repeated use.
Also contains a bacteriostat that will disinfect the boots resulting in the elimination of residual odours due to bacterial or fungal action. Contains Australian Tea Tree Oil, effective against dust, mite and pet allergen. Approximately 10 washes.
How to clean ugg boots
To clean your new ugg boots wet the entire boots with water (do not use hot water as this can cause the boot to shrink and can weaken the glue) Add the wool wash to a sponge or soft brush and gently clean the ugg, concentrating on soiled or dirty areas. You will then need to thoroughly rinse the boot in cold water to remove the suds.
To maintain the shape of the uggies, you can stuff the boots with paper towel or something similar. Ugg boots should never be left to dry in direct sunlight as this can cause the boots to burn and will result in severe and permanent damage to the footwear. If possible, place the boots upside down in a dry and cool location for a few days.
We do not recommend putting the boots in a washing machine as this can cause the colour to fade. NEVER use a clothes dryer to dry your uggies.
After the boots have been cleaned and dried, we recommend spraying them with a ugg protector which will help preserve the sheepskin but also help keep them waterproof.
Your clean boots will feel a little snugg to begin with but this is perfectly normal. After a few hours of wear, they will return to normal.
Replacement innersoles are available if necessary and are a great way to maintain that extra soft feeling. They are also a great investment if your boots start to stretch too much and become loose.
